New Member!

The Alliance welcomes a new member, Bath and Bristol Area Trams Association (BABATA), bringing our membership to 22!  BABATA campaigns for reintroduction of trams in Bath, as part of the public transport mix. This does not commit the Alliance to trams here: our views being that, although greatly enhanced public transport in Bath is vital if traffic is to be reduced, buses must inevitably form the major contribution, but trams may have a place (noting that WECA has plans for a Light Rail or tram link from Bristol to Keynsham which might, in due course, be extended to Bath).  Welcome to BABATA!
