Bath Rugby Stadium Proposals

Alliance member Bath Rugby has submitted the Planning Application for a new stadium on the Rec, and this has been posted on B&NES’ Planning website with reference 23/03558/EFUL.  Of necessity, the application is extensive, with many supporting papers, but the one which is of most relevance to the Alliance is the Draft Travel Plan: this can be found here.  It examines ways in which large numbers of spectators can safely access the proposed stadium while observing Council policies on parking, pollution, congestion, etc, including extending the opening hours of the Park & Ride sites.  Bath Rugby has also published proposals for events additional to rugby to be held at the stadium.
